Grinding concentration has a great influence on grinding technology efficiency. Because the grinding concentration directly affects grinding time, the concentration is too large, the material flow in the mill is slow, and the grinding time increases, and it is easy to over crush. In addition, the coarse particles in the high concentration pulp are not easy to sink, and they are easy to follow the slurry flow, resulting in “running coarse”. If the pulp concentration is too thin, the material flow rate will be accelerated. The grinding time is shortened, and the “running coarse” will appear. At the same time, the large density ore particles are easy to deposit in the bottom of the pulp, and will cause the phenomenon of over crushing. Therefore, the proper grinding concentration should be mastered in operation, which requires strict control of water consumption. Generally speaking, the concentration of coarse grinding is usually 75% – 85%, and the fine grinding concentration is 65% ~ 75%.
