Dolomite is a naturally occurring mineral composed of calcium and magnesium carbonate – CaMg(CO3). Dolomite mining is widely distributed in Philippines, India, Pakistan, Australia, Spain, Brazil, Taiwan etc. Usually, dolomite is available in two forms: fine ground dolomite and hammer mill dolomite.

Dolomite production line usually involve crushing, screening, size classification, material handling and storage operations. Quarried dolomite stone normally is delivered to the processing plant. First, crushing plant will be applied for reducing the dolomite materials into small particle size.

Jaw crusher, impact crusher, or gyratory crushers are usually used for primary size reduction. The crusher product, normally 7.5 to 30 centimeters in diameter, and the grizzly through (undersized material) are discharged onto a belt conveyor and usually are conveyed to a surge pile for temporary storage or are sold as coarse aggregates. Cone crusher is often applied in fine crushing process.
